What you reserve
One or more Stone clips, up to five per person, at CHF 69 each, plus shipping per order: CHF 7 within Switzerland and Liechtenstein, CHF 15 anywhere else. We ship to most countries, but for now not to Germany, the United Kingdom, Norway, Russia or Belarus. Stone is in development: the pictures on this website are renderings of a prototype, and the finished product may differ in details.
Your card
When you reserve, you save a card and your shipping address on Stripe's payment page, and you agree to these terms and to the one charge described below. Nothing is charged at that moment. Stripe keeps the card; we never see the card number.
When we charge
Every Stone reserved cuts one of the 1,000 strands of the rope on our website. When the last one is cut, we charge every saved card once, automatically, without a further notice beforehand: CHF 69 per Stone you reserved, plus shipping. Right after, you get the receipt by email, and production starts. If some cards need you to confirm the payment with your bank, we email you a link; a reservation not paid within 14 days lapses.
If the 1,000 are not all cut by 31 December 2027, your reservation ends: nothing is charged, and your saved card is deleted at Stripe. Your permission to charge your card ends then, or when you cancel.
When you get your Stone
We deliver your Stone within 9 months after the day the last strand is cut, the day we charge your card. If we see that we cannot keep this, we email you before the date with the reason and a new date; you can then cancel and get a full refund, or keep your reservation. If we cannot deliver at all, you get your money back in full. We keep you posted while Stone is made.
Cancelling
Until your card is charged you can cancel at any time: use the link in our emails, or write to hello@getyourstone.com. Your reservation, your strand and your saved card are then deleted.
Import taxes and duties
Stone ships from Switzerland. Within Switzerland and Liechtenstein there is nothing more to pay. To the United States we pay the import duties and customs clearance ourselves: nothing to pay on delivery. Everywhere else, your country's import taxes and duties and the carrier's clearance fee are not part of our price: the carrier charges them on delivery, and you pay them. In the EU these are your country's VAT on the price and shipping, an EU customs duty of EUR 3 and an EU handling fee of EUR 2 per parcel, and the carrier's fee: for one Stone to France, roughly EUR 21 plus that fee.
Approvals
Stone is a 2.4 GHz radio device that is still in development. It has not yet completed its conformity assessment and does not yet carry the CE marking. Your reservation is conditional: no Stone is shipped to Switzerland, the EU or the EEA until it meets the rules that apply there, including the EU Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU and the Swiss Ordinance on Telecommunications Installations (FAV). If that cannot be achieved, your reservation is cancelled: nothing is charged and your saved card is deleted, or, if you have already been charged, you get a full refund.
Customers in the United States: FCC
Stone is subject to the rules of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and has not yet been authorized as required by those rules. Reservations shipped to the United States are conditional sales: delivery to you is conditional upon successful completion of the applicable FCC equipment authorization process, and no Stone is delivered in the United States before then.
The FCC's rules do not address the applicability of consumer protection, contractual, or other provisions under federal or state law.
If FCC equipment authorization is not successfully completed, we cancel your reservation: if your card has not been charged, nothing is charged and your saved card is deleted; if it has been charged, you get a full refund within 14 days.
Legal guarantee
Every Stone comes with the legal guarantee of conformity: if it is faulty, you are entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. In the EU and in Switzerland this lasts at least 2 years from delivery; the law of your country may give you longer or stronger rights. This guarantee is free, applies in addition to your right of withdrawal, and is not limited by these terms. Your legal guarantee rights
Right of withdrawal (EU and EEA)
If you live in the EU or the EEA (Liechtenstein included), you can withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day you, or someone you name who is not the carrier, receive the Stone; if your Stones arrive separately, on the day the last one arrives.
To withdraw, tell us clearly that you want to before the 14 days are over: on our withdrawal page, by email to hello@getyourstone.com, or by post to Noah Steiner, Stone, Hägelerstrasse 11, 5400 Baden, Switzerland. You can use the form below, but you don't have to.
If you withdraw, we refund everything you paid, the standard shipping included, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the card you paid with and without any fee. We may hold the refund until we have the Stone back, or until you show us you sent it, whichever comes first. Send the Stone back to the address above within 14 days of withdrawing; you pay the direct cost of returning it. You only pay for a loss in value that comes from handling it more than needed to see what it is, its features and how it works.
Before your card is charged you don't need any of this: you can cancel at any time (see Cancelling).

Stone contains strong magnets and a small lithium-ion battery. Keep it away from small children: swallowed magnets are dangerous. Keep it at least 10 cm from pacemakers and other implants. Do not crush, puncture or heat it. The full safety instructions come with every Stone.
Law
Swiss law applies. Mandatory consumer protection in the country where you live remains unaffected.
