Reservation terms

Who you reserve from

Noah Steiner, Stone, Hägelerstrasse 11, 5400 Baden, Switzerland. Email: hello@getyourstone.com.

What you reserve

One or more Stone clips, up to five per person, at CHF 69 each, plus shipping per order: CHF 7 within Switzerland and Liechtenstein, CHF 15 anywhere else. We ship worldwide, except where the post cannot deliver. Stone is in development: the pictures on this website are renderings of a prototype, and the finished product may differ in details.

Your card

When you reserve, you save a card and your shipping address on Stripe's payment page. Nothing is charged at that moment. Stripe keeps the card; we never see the card number.

When we charge

Every Stone reserved cuts one of the 1,000 strands of the rope on our website. When the last one is cut, we charge every saved card automatically, without a further notice beforehand: CHF 69 per Stone you reserved, plus shipping. Right after, you get the receipt by email, and production starts. If some cards need you to confirm the payment with your bank, we email you a link; a reservation not paid within 14 days lapses.

If the 1,000 are never all cut, nothing is charged, and your saved card is deleted at Stripe.

Cancelling

Until your card is charged you can cancel at any time: use the link in our emails, or write to hello@getyourstone.com. Your reservation, your strand and your saved card are then deleted.

After the charge

With the receipt we tell you when to expect your Stone, and we keep you posted while it is made. If we cannot deliver, you get your money back in full. Outside Switzerland, your country's import taxes or duties may be due on delivery; they are not part of our price. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Right of withdrawal (EU and EEA)

If you live in the EU or the EEA (Liechtenstein included), you can withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day you, or someone you name who is not the carrier, receive the Stone; if your Stones arrive separately, on the day the last one arrives.

To withdraw, tell us clearly that you want to before the 14 days are over: on our withdrawal page, by email to hello@getyourstone.com, or by post to Noah Steiner, Stone, Hägelerstrasse 11, 5400 Baden, Switzerland. You can use the form below, but you don't have to.

If you withdraw, we refund everything you paid, the standard shipping included, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the card you paid with and without any fee. We may hold the refund until we have the Stone back, or until you show us you sent it, whichever comes first. Send the Stone back to the address above within 14 days of withdrawing; you pay the direct cost of returning it. You only pay for a loss in value that comes from handling it more than needed to see what it is, its features and how it works.

Before your card is charged you don't need any of this: you can cancel at any time (see Cancelling).

Customers in the United States: FCC

Stone sends and receives 2.4 GHz radio. This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). In the United States, a reservation is a conditional sale: Stone is subject to the FCC's rules, and it will not be delivered to you until it has been authorized.

The FCC's rules do not address the applicability of consumer protection, contractual, or other provisions under federal or state law.

If Stone does not get FCC authorization, we do not ship it to the United States: if your card was already charged, you get a full refund of everything you paid; if not, nothing is charged and your saved card is deleted.

Swiss law applies. Mandatory consumer protection in the country where you live remains unaffected.
